Disclaimer – Commitment & Focus This role requires full-time dedication, with clear priority given to Darwoft projects during established working hours. It is not compatible with other full-time professional engagements.

Get to Know Darwoft At Darwoft, we build custom software solutions and partner with international companies to create high-impact digital products.
We are a Latin American technology company with a people-first culture, strong professional standards, and a long-term partnership mindset. We work with distributed teams, complex product challenges, and clients whose technology has a direct impact on their business and users.
About the Opportunity We are partnering with a fast-growing fintech company building financial products for Latino communities in the United States.
Behind its customer-facing financial experience is a complex operational ecosystem involving payments, compliance reviews, risk controls, customer support, partner banks, transaction monitoring, and internal approvals.
As AI agents become increasingly involved in these workflows, the company is building a new internal platform where employees can delegate work to agents, monitor execution, review results, approve sensitive actions, and understand what happened without having to supervise every step .
The goal is to create a unified operating system for human and AI collaboration across internal teams.
This is not a traditional dashboard redesign.
It is an opportunity to help define how people interact with autonomous agents inside a regulated financial organization.
About the Role We are looking for a Product Designer to own the design of an agentic intranet and the internal operational tools surrounding it.
You will design the interfaces where employees decide what work should be delegated to AI agents, understand what those agents are doing, review their proposals, intervene when necessary, and approve actions that may affect customers or financial operations.
The product spans multiple environments — including an internal intranet, Slack workflows, and specialized operations consoles — but needs to behave as one coherent system .
The challenge is therefore broader than visual consistency.
You will help define the vocabulary, interaction patterns, trust mechanisms, status models, permissions, approval flows, and behavioral conventions that make human-agent collaboration understandable and safe.
You will work directly with the people using these tools every day, allowing you to observe workflows, test ideas rapidly, and measure whether the product is actually improving how work gets done.
What You'll Be Doing Design the end-to-end experience of an internal agentic intranet where employees can ask questions, delegate tasks, monitor execution, review outputs, and approve actions.
Define interaction patterns for human-AI collaboration , including delegation, agent status, approvals, escalation, intervention, failure states, and trust.
Create a consistent product system across multiple surfaces such as internal web applications, Slack workflows, and operational queues.
Design workflows where employees can understand what an AI agent is doing without constantly monitoring it.
Build clear experiences around asynchronous agent execution, including tasks that may complete minutes or hours after being delegated.

Design approval and review mechanisms for high-impact actions where humans remain responsible for the final decision.
Translate complex permissions and access controls into interfaces that business, compliance, and operations users can easily understand.
Design dense, keyboard-first internal tools optimized for speed, operational efficiency, and high-volume workflows.
Own and evolve operations consoles used by internal teams managing payments, compliance cases, customer issues, and financial operations.
Prototype directly in code and work with real data whenever possible rather than relying exclusively on static design handoffs.
Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Customer Support, and other internal stakeholders.
Spend time directly with internal users to understand how work actually happens and where friction exists.
Identify cases where employees abandon automated workflows and return to manual processes.
Measure the impact of design decisions through operational metrics such as task delegation, handle time, reversal rates, approval rates, and manual workarounds.
Contribute to the evolution of the design system, product vocabulary, and interaction standards for agent-driven experiences.
Help establish design critique practices and influence how future designers work on AI-heavy products.
What You Bring 4+ 7 + years of experience designing digital products used in real operational environments.
Strong experience designing at least one of the following:
Internal tools
Operations consoles
Admin platforms
Workflow products
Developer tools
Enterprise applications

Strong product thinking and ability to understand complex workflows before designing the interface.
Excellent interaction design and UX skills.
Strong visual design craft, including typography, hierarchy, layout, motion, and interface polish.
Advanced proficiency with Figma and modern product design workflows.
Experience designing information-dense interfaces where speed and usability are more important than decorative complexity.
Experience working with constraints such as permissions, access controls, risk rules, regulatory requirements, or complex failure states.
Ability to identify and design for edge cases rather than focusing only on adecuado user flows.
Experience creating or evolving design systems, reusable interaction patterns, and component libraries .
Ability to work across surfaces where some parts of the interface are outside your control, such as Slack or third-party platforms.
Strong collaboration skills with Product Managers, Engineers, Operations teams, and business stakeholders.
Ability to work autonomously and move projects forward in ambiguous environments.
Strong analytical mindset and experience combining qualitative insights with product or operational data.
Spanish proficiency.
Advanced English communication skills for collaboration with international teams.
AI-Assisted Design Workflow AI fluency is a core part of this role.
We are looking for designers who actively use AI tools as part of their product development workflow rather than treating them only as research or content-generation tools.
Examples may include:
Cursor for building and iterating functional prototypes.
Claude Code for front-end experimentation and implementation.
Codex or similar coding agents to accelerate prototyping.

AI-assisted exploration of interaction patterns and edge cases.
Building working interfaces connected to real or representative data.
Testing workflows involving autonomous or semi-autonomous agents.
Using LLMs to evaluate alternative flows, content, states, and failure scenarios.
The expectation is not simply that you understand AI products.
You should be comfortable building with AI tools yourself and using them to increase the speed, range, and quality of your design process.
What We Value Beyond tools and portfolio quality, we evaluate designers across several dimensions.
Ownership You move projects forward without waiting for perfect instructions and consistently push toward the best outcome for users and the business.
Rigor You use qualitative and quantitative evidence to make decisions, pay attention to details, and actively explore edge cases and failure scenarios.
Impact You connect design decisions to measurable user or business outcomes and understand what changed because of your work.
Teamwork You treat product development as a collaborative discipline and build strong, long-term relationships across Product, Engineering, Operations, and other teams.
Curiosity You want to understand users, workflows, operational realities, and the business — not just the design tools being used.
Grit You are comfortable working through the less glamorous parts of product development and can continue moving complex projects forward when constraints appear.
Craft Your interfaces demonstrate precision across interaction design, typography, visual hierarchy, motion, states, and details.
Communication You can explain complex product decisions clearly, concisely, and with the right level of context for the audience.
Nice to Have Experience designing products involving AI agents or autonomous workflows .
Experience building or operating your own AI agents or agentic workflows.
Familiarity with platforms or frameworks such as OpenClaw, Hermes , or custom agent harnesses.
Experience designing approval, review, escalation, or human-in-the-loop systems.
Experience with conversational AI products.
Experience in fintech, payments, banking, stablecoins, or other regulated industries.
Familiarity with financial operations, compliance, risk, or transaction workflows.
Experience designing Slack applications, integrations, or workflows.
Experience prototyping production-like interfaces using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, or modern frontend frameworks.
Contractor Conditions Full-time contractor agreement with payment in USD.
100% remote work.
Paid PTO.
Collaboration with international and distributed teams.
English classes.
Referral program.
Access to learning platforms.
Portfolio Required An updated portfolio is required to move forward in the process, including a password when applicable.
We are particularly interested in case studies involving internal tools, operational products, workflow systems, complex enterprise applications, developer tools, or AI-enabled products .
Your portfolio should clearly explain:
The problem you were solving.
Who the users were and how they worked.
Your specific role and level of ownership.
The operational or business constraints involved.
The design decisions and trade-offs you made.
How you collaborated with Product and Engineering.
How you validated the solution.
What changed after the product was released.
Metrics, learnings, or measurable outcomes whenever available.
Work completed under NDA is welcome. You can describe the problem, constraints, process, decisions, and impact without disclosing confidential information.
Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
