**Job Title**:Collection Specialist - Administrator**Location**: Monterrey, Mexico**Department**:Accounting - A/R**Reports to**:Supervisor, A/R**SUMMARY**:**Responsibilities**:- Review and research a high volume of transactions, identifying root causes of discrepancies and recognize resolutions, document issues and report to management.
- Provide customer service regarding collection issues.
- Identify, review, and prepare account adjustments.
- Resolve client discrepancies and short payments.
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts - customer calls, account adjustments, customer reconciliations.
- Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned portfolio including but not limited to regular collection calls and correspondence to customers in a fast-paced environment.
- Work with customers and internal employees in the pursuit and resolution of collection matters.
- Negotiate win-win solutions to get paid- Excellent customer service and professionalism- Proactively seeks ways to develop and expand client relationships.
- Verify validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, customer service departments, and from customers.
**Skills/Experience Required**:- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required- Minimum three (3)



years' experience in collection best practices- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills- Strong planning and organizing skills- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite- Exceptional customer service focus- Excellent customer service and administrative skills- Strong MS Office and data entry skills- Professional, polished, can-do attitude- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment- SKIDATA recognizes people as our most valuable asset!
