LOGISTEED Mexico is a newly unified, full-service integrated logistics company formed through the merger of two established Mexico entities into a single organization, LOGISTEED Mexico Logistics, S.A. de C.V. The combined company will employ approximately 325 people and deliver an integrated portfolio of freight forwarding, contract logistics (warehousing and distribution), and transportation services to customers across Mexico and the broader North American market. LOGISTEED Mexico operates as part of the global LOGISTEED network, under the North America leadership of Carter LOGISTEED and the international leadership of LOGISTEED International.
Position Summary The Managing Director will lead the newly combined LOGISTEED Mexico organization through integration and into sustained, profitable growth. This individual will be accountable for unifying two legacy entities into one cohesive operating company, building a high-performing leadership team, and establishing LOGISTEED Mexico as a scaled, full-service logistics provider across freight forwarding, contract logistics, and transportation. The role requires a hands-on operator with the executive presence to represent the business with global customers, regional leadership, and Japanese parent-company stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior-most executive for LOGISTEED Mexico, with full P&L; accountability for the combined entity across all three service lines: freight forwarding, contract logistics, and transportation.
- Lead the post-merger integration of the two legacy organizations into LOGISTEED Mexico Logistics, S.A. de C.V., including harmonizing operations, systems, policies, and culture across a workforce of approximately 325 employees.
- Build, develop, and retain a strong country leadership team across sales, operations, finance, and administration; establish clear organizational structure and succession depth.
- Develop and execute the strategic and annual operating plan for LOGISTEED Mexico in alignment with Carter LOGISTEED North America and LOGISTEED International objectives.
- Own commercial growth in Mexico, including new business development,
customer retention, and expansion of the automotive, industrial, and cross-border customer base.
- Represent LOGISTEED Mexico in customer, vendor, and partner relationships, including complex commercial negotiations and service recovery situations.
- Partner with Carter LOGISTEED North America and LOGISTEED International finance teams on budgeting, forecasting, CAPEX planning, and performance reporting.
- Ensure regulatory, safety, labor, and compliance standards are met across all Mexico operations, including customs, cross-border freight, and facility operations.
- Collaborate with global and regional leadership on cross-border service design connecting Mexico operations with U.S., Canadian, and broader international networks.
- Champion a culture of safety, operational excellence, employee engagement, customer satisfaction, business profitability and continuous improvement across the newly combined organization.
- Travel regularly across Mexico operating locations and periodically to the United States and other international offices to align with integral leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive leadership and management experience within the logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or supply chain sector, including at least 5 years in a senior general management or P&L; leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience managing and integrating multiple business lines or entities, ideally including post-merger or post-acquisition integration.
- Proven track record building and leading multi-functional leadership teams in an organization of comparable size (250+ employees).
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal), with the ability to operate confidently in both languages in customer, executive,
and cross-cultural settings.
- Willingness and ability to work regularly with offices, customers, and leadership across multiple regions and time zones, including Latin America, the United States, and Asia.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience owning budgets, forecasts, and operating plans, and communicating results to senior and international stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills across all organizational levels, including with integral parent-company leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience serving automotive OEM or Tier 1/Tier 2 automotive customers within logistics, contract logistics, or freight forwarding operations.
- Prior experience operating within a Japanese-affiliated or other multinational corporate structure, including reporting into global headquarters.
- Experience with cross-border Mexico–U.S. freight, customs/compliance programs (e.g., CTPAT/OEA), and integrated freight forwarding operations.
- Familiarity with contract logistics/warehouse operations in addition to transportation and freight forwarding.

Working Conditions
This role is based in Aguascalientes, Mexico and requires regular travel to LOGISTEED Mexico operating locations (Primarily Queretaro, Leon, Monterrey, Guadalajara, San Luis Potosi & Laredo, TX), as well as periodic travel to the United States and other international offices to meet with regional and global leadership. Some evening or early-morning availability may be required to coordinate with international time zones.
