Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative schedules deliveries, traces loads and responds to problems that arise during the day regarding pick‑ups or deliveries.

Essential Functions:

- Perform prompt and complete data entry
- Enter accurate customer orders in computer system
- Monitor on‑time performance for driver delivery and pick‑up




- Prepare tracking reports
- Understand and abide by various customer requirements
- Understand the operations and rules of the various rail carriers and piers
- Communicate with Dispatchers to avoid any problems with loads or transports and resolve any issues that may occur
- Trace and monitor existing loads in the system to prevent problems from occurring
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

- Experience in intermodal transportation or import/export business preferred
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to effectively multi-task when necessary
- Adaptable; able to work in past‑paced environment
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
