Sustainability Intern

? Location: Mexico City (CDMX) or San Luis Potosí (SLP)

⏰ Part-time Internship (24 hours per week)

At Orbia, we are looking for a Sustainability Intern passionate about environmental impact, data analytics, and ESG reporting to support our global sustainability initiatives.

In this role, you will contribute to the collection, analysis, and visualization of sustainability data reported by sites worldwide through Orbia's sustainability platform. You will gain exposure to greenhouse gas emissions reporting, including Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions, while collaborating with international teams and supporting compliance with evolving general sustainability requirements.

Requirements

✅ Currently pursuing a degree in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.

✅ Advanced English required, as the position interacts regularly with global stakeholders.

✅ Availability to work 24 hours per week.





✅ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

✅ Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

✅ Interest in sustainability, ESG reporting, and environmental data management.

Key Activities

- Support the collection and validation of sustainability data from Orbia sites globally.
- Analyze Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions data.
- Develop dashboards, charts, and visual reports to communicate sustainability performance.
- Support global sustainability reporting and ESG projects.
- Collaborate with international teams to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Assist in presentations and sustainability-related analyses.
