**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The Staff Accountant will play a critical role in supporting the daily financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of financial reports.
As a key member of the Finance team, you will work closely with the leadership team to maintain the general ledger, conduct financial reporting, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
This position will expose you to a variety of accounting functions, from month-end close activities to budget management and financial analysis.
Your contributions will help support the overall financial health and operational efficiency of our company.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger; execute journal entries and manage month
- and year-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and SOX standards; support internal and external audits with required documentation.
- Manage cash flow, commission payments, and accounts receivable provisions, including return reserves and bad debt.
- Track income and expenses,



ensuring accurate documentation of financial agreements and collaboration contracts.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts; monitor budget performance and identify variances.
- Recommend improvements to financial planning processes and budget alignment with business strategies.
- Support system implementations and acquisitions to ensure smooth financial integration and reporting accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Revenue Cycle, Operations) to deliver reliable financial data.
- Contribute to special projects, process improvements, and executive financial reporting (e.g., revenue realization, budget summaries).
**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 years in healthcare.
- English proficiency is a MUST.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., lookups, pivot tables, Power Pivots).
- Strong financial skills with an understanding of GAAP and financial statement relationships.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in U.S. company accounting.
