As aSenior Quality Engineer , you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and performance ofasset management and financial services platforms , combininghands-on automationwithstrong manual testing expertise.
This is ahybrid QE role —not tool-driven, butdomain-driven.
While the automation stack is versátil (Selenium or Playwright using Java, Python, or. NET),deep experience in financial services and asset management systemsis essential.
Your Impact
Quality Strategy & Test Execution
Design and executeend-to-end testing strategiesfor complex financial systems, balancing manual and automated testing approaches.
Createcomprehensive test plans and reusable test casesderived from business requirements and acceptance criteria.
Executefunctional, system, regression, integration, and performance testingacross APIs, databases,



and UI layers.
Automation Engineering
Develop, maintain, and enhanceautomation test suitesat the API, database, and UI layers.
Contribute to and extend enterpriseautomation frameworks , ensuring scalability and maintainability.
Implementend-to-end automated scenarioscovering critical financial workflows and regulatory-sensitive processes.
Collaborate with QE Architects and Automation Engineers on test design, tooling, and best practices.
Validateinvestment and asset management workflows , including data integrity, calculations, and business rules.
Test applications supportingEquity, Fixed Income, and Derivativesasset classes.
Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure testing aligns with real-world financial use cases and risk scenarios.
Actively participate inAgile ceremoniesincluding sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Partner with developers, product owners, and business analysts to clarify requirements and quality expectations.
Provideclear, concise, and data-driven test results , including defect analysis, risk assessment, and recommendations.
Skills & Experience
Required
6+ years of experiencein Quality Engineering within anAgile environment.
3–5+ years of experience in Financial Services , with solid knowledge of:
Equity, Fixed Income,



and Derivativesasset classes
Strongmanual testing fundamentals , including test case design, execution, and defect lifecycle management.
Hands-on experience withtest automation , using one or more of the following:
Selenium or Playwright
Java, Python, or.
NET
StrongSQL skillswith experience validating complex financial and investment data.
Experience testingAPI-based and microservices architectures.
Ability to translatebusiness and regulatory requirementsinto effective testing strategies.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional Scrum teams.
Nice to Have
Experience withinvestment compliance systemsor regulatory-driven platforms.
Exposure to performance testing tools and techniques.
Experience working in large-scale, enterprise financial environments.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test execution in automated delivery workflows.
