HMD Trucking Inc. is looking for a Shop, After Hours On the Road Support Assistant who wants to contribute to a successful team that embraces innovation and be part of an industry leading organization that consistently sets new standards.Desirable ExperiencePrevious maintenance or breakdown assistance experienceBasic knowledge of tractor, trailer, truck, semi mechanical functionsResponsibilitiesAdministrative duties include data entry,



daily phone and email communicationResponding to incoming calls and handling appropriatelyAnswer calls and accommodate drivers with repairs that trucks or trailers need on the roadAssisting drivers on the road with truck breakdowns over the phoneOrganizing on the road assistance with vendors throughout the USProviding coverage for colleagues when neededVarious other support functions as assignedWork Hours (After Hours during week & weekends)
Monday - Friday 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm CSTSaturday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm CSTExperienceKnowledge of tractor, trailer functions: 2 years (Required)Basic knowledge of truck & semi mechanical functions: 2 years (Required)Previous maintenance or breakdown assistance experience: 2 years (Required)Proficient in spoken and written ENGLISH (must)Ability to work under pressureAbility to work effectively both as a Team member and independentlyAbility to follow instructions and deliver quality resultsPast work experience that is relevant is a plusWhat can you expect?
