You will manage a team of HSSE professionals and work closely with site leaders and senior stakeholders who do not directly report to you.
Success in this role requires strong influence, communication and leadership skills, combined with solid technical knowledge of HSSE regulations and best practices in logistics environments.Key responsibilitiesLead HSSE strategy and execution forwarehousing and transportation operations across MexicoAct as thecountry HSSE lead , ensuring alignment with Maersk global policies and local legal requirementsManage and develop a team ofHSSE Business Partnerssupporting multiple sitesEnsure compliance with Mexican HSSE regulations, internal standards, and external auditsLead investigations of HSSE incidents and ensure effective corrective and preventive actionsPartner with site leaders, operations, engineering, construction and other functions to embed HSSE into daily operationsInfluence senior stakeholders to prioritize safety and environmental performance alongside business resultsSupport rollout of HSSE policies, procedures, training and continuous improvement initiativesEngage with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders when requiredTravel regularly to warehouses and depots nationwide (approximately30% travel )Leadership & management scopePeople manager responsibility including coaching,
