At ECOM, we are looking for a
Senior Microsoft Fabric Engineer
to serve as the technical authority for our global enterprise analytics platform. This is not a role for a traditional dashboard creator; we need a true
Backend Engineer
capable of architecting the entire data ecosystem to ensure information flows securely, scalably, and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Architecture:
Define and maintain the enterprise architecture for Microsoft Fabric, implementing
Data Lakehouse and Data Warehouse
structures using
Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
.
Data Engineering:
Deploy and optimize
pipelines
within Microsoft Fabric to ensure high-performance data processing.
Financial Governance (FinOps):
Architect Fabric capacity usage models to balance performance and cost, enabling
Chargeback and Showback
models for different business units.
Strategic Governance:
Define policies for workspace structures, access control, and dataset reuse across a general environment.
Technical Leadership:




Provide architectural guidance and design reviews for other developers, focusing on semantic models and performance tuning.
What are we looking for?
Experience:
7+ years
in BI, analytics, or data platforms.
Seniority:
3+ years
in a Senior Architect or Platform Lead role (Experience implementing Microsoft Fabric or transitioning from Azure Synapse is highly valued).
Technical Edge:
You must speak the language of
Backend Engineering
. We are looking for experts in data implementation, not just Power BI report specialists.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Language:
Fluent English
