Senior QA Engineer | Remote | LATAM Kwan is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to help establish and drive a strong quality assurance process for a growing technology team.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of the QA process, define testing strategies, improve test coverage, and help build a solid foundation for both manual and automated testing.
What You'll Do Own and drive the QA process, including manual and automated testing.
Design and maintain comprehensive test coverage, with a strong focus on data consistency, accuracy, and correctness .
Develop and maintain structured test cases and test tracking using tools such as Testiny, TestRail, or similar .
Perform thorough API testing and validation.
Work alongside development teams to integrate QA effectively into existing development and CI processes.
Identify potential quality risks and recommend improvements to testing strategies and processes.
Take ownership of QA decisions and confidently communicate testing approaches and recommendations.
What We're Looking For 7+ years of professional QA experience ,



preferably across multiple organizations or products.
Strong experience with data validation, data integrity, and correctness testing .
Solid experience testing REST APIs and integrations .
Experience with manual and automated testing .
Familiarity with PHP/Laravel or similar backend technologies is a plus.
Experience with test management tools such as Testiny, TestRail, or similar .
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Highly self-directed, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of QA processes.
Excellent written and spoken English .
