Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance and operations, to ensure compliance with trade

Implement KPIs to measure operational and compliance efficiency.

Supervise the preparation of IMMEX monthly reports and ensure compliance with Annex 24 and Annex 30.

Monitors and manages regulatory changes in general customs legislation, providing updates and guidance to internal teams.

Participate in the integration of the company's ERP system with the Annex 24 inventory control system to ensure a smooth and accurate flow of data.

Provide support to the Director of Trade Compliance in the execution of strategies to optimize customs and compliance processes in order to reduce costs and operational risks.

Ensure legal compliance with trade laws and regulations, including proper licensing for the entry and exit of merchandise from all business locations.

Monitor the performance of customs brokers and other business partners related to trade compliance to maintain strong relationships that ensure efficient customs operations.

Development and implementation of trade compliance programs and procedures for import and export regulatory compliance for all sites.





Participates in the administration of the OEA & CTPAT organization's supply chain security programs for all sites.

Conduct audits to verify compliance with import and export transactions, ensuring accurate declarations and identifying discrepancies.

Develop and implement SOPs, SOWs, and instructions for standardizing processes across all sites.

Implements and monitors risk mitigation plans at all sites.

Assists and supports customs audits by Mexican and U.S. federal authorities.

Education, Knowledge, and Skills Required

Bachelor's degree in foreign trade or related field.

Knowledge of import/export regulations and compliance standards.

Analytical skills with attention to detail.

Communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of supply chain and organizational systems.

Ability to learn to use ERP software/information systems.

Leadership.

Effective communication.

Strategic thinking.

In-depth knowledge of the company and the relevant market.
