About the job
The Maintenance Engineer is esponsible for performing extensive preventative maintenance, repair procedures, building, equipment, machinery, grounds, and other company facilities.
Your tasks
- Ensures the execution of preventive, predictive,
and corrective maintenance for production and utility machinery and equipment. Assists in special projects for maintenance.
- Independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from manager.
- Diagnoses equipment or system malfunctions or breakdowns based on detected symptoms.
- Responsible for ensuring that maintenance records (preventive, corrective, and predictive) for production and utility machinery and equipment are entered into the corresponding database.
- Maintains all records related to all vendors, jobs, quotes, and equipment.
- Uses PDCA analysis tools for problem-solving.
- Inspects facilities to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determines corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented.
