role:
- assist in supporting our client's operations and engineering departments with identifying special project needs.
- analysis of the existing gen3 systems – mechanical, fluid dynamics, potentially hydrocarbon properties, heat, cooling, etc.
- assist the research & development team with designing and implementing alterations/reworks of the gen3 system to improve performance efficiency, reliability (uptime) and safety
- assist in the evaluation of the mcdonough design/implementation in a similar capacity as gen3. Help incorporate changes from the gen3 system findings
- evaluating mcdonough design/implementation in a similar manner to gen3 and helping to incorporate changes from the gen3 system going forward
- regular communications with engineering, operations, and construction teams. Coordinating with third party engineering contractors as needed to finalize or implement identified system modifications/alterations.
- communicating with mechanical/electrical contractors – develop special project scopes, bid documents for procurement issuance, on-site coordination, etc.
- participating in developing budgets and schedules for special project scopes
- participate in design reviews, hazard analyses,
and other relevant meetings around all current and future operations and facilities
- participating in project post-mortems analyses
- participating in vendor fat’s and sat’s
- working in the office and in the field, traveling when necessary
