Key Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in network engineering and administration.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco networking equipment and technologies.
- Proficiency in Juniper and Arista products.
- Experience with VMware and network automation tools (e.g., Ansible).
- Solid understanding of network security principles and practices.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, JNCIA, JNCIP) are a plus.
Plus Skills
- Familiarity with cloud networking solutions.
- Knowledge of SDN and NFV technologies.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Design & Implementation:
- Design and deploy Cisco access and distribution switches, core routers (2900, 3500, 3700, 3800, 4400, 4500, 6500, 7200, 7500,
and ASR 1000 series).
- Implement Nexus 5000, 7000, and 9000 series switches using traditional and spine & leaf architectures.
- Configure and manage HP Pro Curve switches, Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Automation & Orchestration:
- Utilize Arista devices (Layer 2 and Layer 3) and integrate with automation tools such as Ansible and AVD.
- Implement VMware solutions, including VXLAN and NSX technology over ACI fabric.
- Wireless Networking:
- Configure and maintain various models of Cisco Access Points (APs) and Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs).
- Routing Protocols:
- Manage TCP/IP routing protocols including BGP, Static, RIP, RIP v2, EIGRP, and OSPF.
- Network Security:
- Implement and manage Cisco ASA and Check Point security solutions to ensure network integrity and security.
- Troubleshooting & Support:
- Diagnose and resolve network issues to maintain high availability and performance.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other IT team members and departments.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate network documentation, including network diagrams, configuration details, and operational procedures.
- Generate reports on network performance, incidents, and enhancements.
