Senior Management Reporting Analyst

Queretaro, Mexico.

This role will lead and support the implementation of end-to-end financial management reporting and analytics solutions that enable business leaders to make informed strategic decisions. The Senior Analyst will serve as a hybrid functional and technical subject matter expert, combining a strong understanding of financial principles and business processes with the technical aptitude needed to shape reporting and analytics solutions.

Work you’ll do

The ideal candidate will lead stakeholder discussions, gather and refine requirements, evaluate solution options, translate business needs into structured reporting and analytics use cases, and coordinate with data and technology teams through solution development and deployment:

- Lead and manage intake, scoping, and prioritization of reporting, dashboard, analytics, and insight requests, ensuring business need, feasibility, data availability, urgency, and delivery considerations are clearly assessed.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document requirements, translating business questions into structured reporting, dashboard, analytics, and insight-product use cases.
- Evaluate and help shape reporting solutions, recommending the most appropriate platform or approach based on user needs, data complexity, scalability, governance expectations, and support model.
- Support the full solution lifecycle from requirements and design through development coordination, testing, deployment, adoption, and post-implementation enhancement.
- Translate requirements into practical solution artifacts, including report designs, dashboard wireframes, functional specifications, business rules, metric definitions, and success criteria.
- Coordinate with business, data, technology, and Operations teams to support solution development, resolve dependencies, manage issues, and ensure a smooth transition from build to run.
- Help ensure solutions align with data governance, reporting controls, metric consistency, and business definitions, while identifying and helping resolve design or data-related issues.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation by identifying opportunities to enhance intake, reporting processes, solution design, automation, reusable components, and insight products.
- Support stakeholder communications, solution walkthroughs, training materials, and adoption activities to help drive understanding and successful implementation.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and provide guidance to team members, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Qualifications

Required:

- Completion of course of study/Egresado in any pertinent field or industry in any pertinent field or industry
- Advanced English level.
- Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and turn it into actionable insights.
- Experience with reporting and BI tools such as SAP SAC, Power BI, Tableau, Web Intelligence, or SAP BOE, with the ability to contribute to solution design and requirements shaping.
- Experience working with stakeholders to translate business needs into reporting, dashboard, analytics, or insight-product requirements.




- Ability to assess use cases and recommend the most suitable solution based on user need, data complexity, business context, scalability, and support considerations.
- Experience documenting requirements and solution inputs such as process flows, metric definitions, functional needs, dependencies, and assumptions.
- Experience translating requirements into solution artifacts such as report designs, wireframes, visualization concepts, or functional specifications.
- Familiarity with data governance, metric consistency, reporting controls, and data quality to support trusted solutions.
- Experience supporting solution design, testing, deployment, and adoption activities for reporting and analytics products.
- Strong project management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and escalate risks and dependencies appropriately.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Power Point.
- Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the Queretaro Office

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Mexico at the time of hire; limited sponsorship may be available for this role based on business needs and applicable law.

Preferred:

- Working knowledge of SAP HANA and/or Databricks preferred.
- Exposure to automation, analytics, or AI-enabled tools such as Power Automate or Python preferred.
- Experience in a cross-functional reporting, analytics, or finance transformation environment preferred.
