Responsible for customer inventory, receipts, put away and shipping for a specificclient.
- Dispatch drivers and respond to drivers' calls- Notify drivers of assignments and direct their activities to ensure cargo is picked upand delivered- Update data base on all dispatched moves- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations- Coordinate with other departments within the company- Respond to & solve production problems- Train employees on job specific duties- Make suggestions and show initiative for process improvements- Effectively communicate with clients, vendors and employees daily- Assist Operations Manager with planning and budget process- Other duties as assigned**Experience**: Preferred- Four years industry experience required
