Position SummaryThis role supports Private Destinations in Mexico recruitment operations and talent acquisition team.
The Manager will support the Director of Talent Acquisition on process enhancement, performance management, and project delivery.
The Manager leads the performance management of recruiting professionals supporting aligned functional areas to ensure operational objectives are achieved through defined processes.
The manager is responsible for providing monthly reporting & analytics on shipboard recruitment, compliance, and strategic plans for continuous improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Monitors recruitment efforts and action plans to ensure that all recruitment processes are done in an effective and timely manner to address all staffing requirements for Private Destinations in MexicoEnsures that appropriate measures are in place to promote and administer effective and efficient recruitment methods in order to maximize productivity and output of the recruitment teamReviews process implementations and comes up with recommendations for continuous improvementMonitors and address performance of the recruitment team to meet KPI and metrics, provide recommendations as appropriatePartners with HRIS, Talent Operations,
and People Analytics in developing reports to effectively measure recruitment activity metricsWorks directly with the Talent Programming team to ensure recruitment programs and sourcing strategies are in place to support ongoing hiring needs for the company.Assist Talent Programming team and operations with workforce planning and diversity recruitment planningInfluences partners and peers through positive relationships, credibility, and recruitment expertiseEnsure that recruiting and employment practices are followedExercise judgement and mentor team members to troubleshoot & resolve issues as they ariseUtilizes data to measure resource efficiencyManage analytics for Private Destinations Mexico recruitment on time and accurately to enable data driven decision for requisition allocation and fulfillment.
Perform variance analyses as needed and evaluate recruitment performance vs plan, forecast, and prior year.Monitors gap pool status through various dashboard and external factors that may impact talent supply and recruitment strategies.Provides fact-based recommendations to improve recruitment performance, operational efficiency, and marketing effectivenessAct as the liaison.
Coordinate with internal onboarding,
scheduling and IT team to support day by day operational needs and seek process enhancement when possible.Provide training and refresh training to recruitment team and operationsPartners with talent marketing team to provide feedback and recommendations on recruitment marketing activities.Supports recruitment efforts and conducts interviews for specialty and management roles.Administers audit to ensure complianceResponsible for training, performance management, and record management.Perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor or management.Financial ResponsibilitiesPartner with Director of Talent Acquisition to review and manage TA budget items.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in business or human resources or related field from an accredited college or university or the international equivalent.Minimum 8 years of experience, with minimum 5 years of management experienceMinimum 2 years' related business intelligence experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum 2 years working experience in international hospitality and/or travel industryMust be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.Knowledge and Skills:Working knowledge of computers, Internet access, and the ability to navigate within a variety of Microsoft software packages such as Excel, Word and Power Point.
Knowledge of automated human resources systems preferred including JD EdwardsKnowledge of the shipboard organization preferred.Knowledge of world geography, time differences and demographicStrong Excel skills required.
Ability to analyze large datasets and report relevant findings.
High attention to detailsAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to solve complex problems with a variety of variables.
