A REGULAR DAY AT WORK (ESSENTIAL DUTIES):
QA/Product Manager is responsible of the quality system maintenance, position has full responsibility of the quality levels delivered to EHP REF and FC, ECN’s implementation at corporate level, usage of the correct resin grades matching the drawings provided by the design centers, compliance of ISO 9001 and 14001, internal quality targets achievement, will work to identify potential projects with purchasing and deploy those opportunities, until tools are released to manufacturing via PPAP process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for Safety in all its metrics as TCIR, LCIR, LSDR and Stop Cards generation at the QA/Product Department.
- Define strategies for NRFT improvement plan, based in methodologies aligned with problem solving.
- Define strategies to protect costumer (FC and REF Plants), based in immediate containment, must have corrective actions defined within the initial 24 hours, must create an action plan to decrease PPMs at costumer levels.
- Define strategies to validate ISO 9001 and 14001 compliances, to identify weakness in our processes and systems, based on outputs generate actions to robust the complete system.
- Implement internal or external ECN’s, validate those via PPAP process according company policies.
- Manage all strategies to get new product validated since it’s conception, until product is release for mass production, involve functional areas into the new product projects and distribute responsibilities accordingly.
- Total Cost responsibilities must drive QA/ Product team to generate and implement conversion projects, based on management direction.
- Manage and control the budget assigned to measurement devices calibration or quality destructive test.
- Must define, strategies to improve suppliers PPM’s level, should be able to track and understand key suppliers’ performance.
- Responsible to implement with team strategies coming from the corporate headquarters as SKU rationalization, PPAP compliance, MA &SA; audits or other initiatives.




- Cost model and BOM creation based on product standard, department should reflect any new change in BOM for new products or ECN changes.
- Responsible to look for quality improvement via design changes at the parts that are creating issues at NRFT.
- Responsible for the implementation and execution of operational controls and / or applicable procedures of the Environmental Management System.

Minimum Qualification
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS):
- Engineering degree (Industrial, mechanical, electronics, chemical.
- 3+ years in the position.
- Proven sound business management skills in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong and clear communication skills at all levels including upper management.
- Strong problem analysis and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under intense pressure.
- Ability to multi-task.

- Planning, organizing and execution skills.
- Experience in leading and communicating with diverse work groups to includeengineers, production, scheduling and controls, maintenance, and manufacturing associates.
- Deep understanding of process capacity and manufacturing cost administration.
- Successful facility startup experience preferred.
- Basic Knowledge in energy management systems ISO 50001 (Significant Energy Uses, Energy Policy, objectives and actions plans).
- Knowledge in environmental management systems ISO14001 (environmental aspects, operational controls and objectives and environmental programs).
