**Job Overview**:
Supervises Field Safety Officers Seeks guidance from the HSE Manager as appropriate before making critical and important decisions
**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:
- Provide direction to reportees and make decisions in pursuit of the project and area goals and objectives. Set standards of behaviour.
- Solicit ideas from the team members in order to overcome any difficulties that may be encountered during the implementation of the project, review and implement lessons learnt from prior projects.




- Lead and drive a common and consistent risk based HSE culture throughout the project Develop and lead implementation of the HSE-MS as required by the Contract and in line With corporate and legislative requirements in relation to project HSE Critical activities(e.g.: Engineering, Construction. HUC, Operations, Contactor interfaces)
- Develop an integrated approach to HSE and Hazard & Effects Management amoss project and contractors:
- Support the planning and execution of the internal HSE Audit and compliance assurance programs Establish KPIs relevant to lie Project complete ith measurement 7 compliance to the indicators
- Develop / review / update all HSE Management System documents Monitor for effectiviness and assist in implementation of Project HSE Management PTan
- Lead Incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis
- Review / approve Subcontractors and Vendors for project equipment/ services
- Conduct regular site and location visits/reviews
**Essential Qualifications and Education**:
- Be fluent in English, both spoken and in writing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven track record of successful project management
