**Laser Vascular Center** is seeking top performing Medical Billing Specialist. The Medical Biller is responsible for reviewing and submitting insurance claims, collection of insurance and patient payments, posting of insurance and patient payments and research and resolution of outstanding insurance claims and patient balances. This includes rebilling primary, secondary and tertiary insurances, patient co-pays and deductibles. Interacts with all levels of personnel and leadership, maintains and ensures confidentiality of patient financial information..
The starting pay for this position is between $600-$700 a month depending on experience. There is opportunity for raises based on job performance. This is a great opportunity for a long term job in the medical field with opportunity for growth.
**Requirements**:
- **Fluent in English and Spanish **(verbal and written communication skills)
- Strong data entry skills with **attention to detail**:




- Previous experience in customer service or related field preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and provide excellent service
- Experience in the Medical field preferred.
- **Reliable internet** connection
- Knowledge of EMRs (ours is EClinical Works)
**Experience**
- Must have knowledge of all aspect of the medical billing cycle
- Billing for in-office procedures, ultrasounds, office visits
- Must be familiar with Medicare, Commercial and Ahcccs insurance plans
- Knowledge of working aging, follow up and appeals
- Verifying patient insurance coverage
- Knowledge of prior authorizations
- Other office responsibilities
- Willing to train but must have some medical billing experience
