**Requirements**:
- BS in engineering (mechanical, aeronautical, automotive, electro-mechanics).
- Minimum 3 years in in the automotive industry in similar position as design and release engineer and/ or product development lead engineer.
- Soft skills: Self-directed, ownership, sense of urgency, achiever, absolute attention to the details.
- Well-developed leadership & project management skills.
- Proficient in communicating in technical English language, comfortable with reporting out to the management.
- Knowledgeable in the design, development and engineering processes of automotive components such as brackets, troughs and grommets.
- Knowledgeable in manufacturing processes to manufacture such components: injection molded, blown or extruded plastics,



sheet metal stamped parts and its involved secondary operations.
- Knowledgeablein:1) engineering materials & fasteners selection. 2) general automotive product development process. 3) product design process (phases) in CAD systems (NX or Catia). 3) setting & understanding dimensional strategies (GD&T;, datum and location schemes). 4) regulatory requirements (FMVSS, CMVSS, ECE R21, etc.). 5) Setting and interpreting virtual analysis studies (CAE, mold flow).
- Availability to travel and support launch activities at the Stellantis assembly plants and supplier facilities.
