**Responsibilities**:
Design and develop mechanical components and systems for heavy-duty pumps and dredge equipment.
Create detailed machine drawings and fabrication drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks).
Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to analyze and optimize designs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other engineers, to develop new products and improve existing ones.
Provide technical support to manufacturing, sales, and customer service teams.
Conduct testing and validation of designs to ensure they meet specifications.
Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve product quality and performance.
**Requirements**:




Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the industrial equipment industry.
Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks.
Strong knowledge of GD&T; principles.
Experience with machine drawings and fabrication drawings.
Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per month
