**Role Purpose**:
- Support manufacturing operations by providing standard systematic solutions.
- Create and support solutions and improvements for manufacturing systems.
- Interface between SAP team and Operations teams.
- Support SAP and other manufacturing systems and their interfaces.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Support manufacturing operations with SAP system expertise.
- Identify and resolve complex technical issues within our customer service-level agreements.
- Translate Business User functional requests requirements to build technical objects utilizing best practices.
- Able to perform under pressure during times like a system down situation.
- Ability to work across multiple teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Conduct working sessions with business users as required.
- Understanding of SAP S/4 HANA/IBP/ECC/MM/SCM/APO/GTS and table structures, data elements/fields, & table inter-dependencies.
- Able to work with Basis team during troubleshooting providing guidance when required.
- Will need to become proficient in working within our ticketing system - ServiceNow.
- Must be a self-starter with ability to manage work with mínimal supervision.
- Will work with operations team in support break/fix activities as well as some project work.
- Will be in an on-call rotation supporting team / organization.
- Expected to meet SLA commitments defined by IT and agreed upon by the organization.
- Needs to be a self-starter and able to work independently following Corning established coding guidelines.
- Analyze software requirements to determine design feasibility.
- Develop software systems, including programming,



documentation and testing procedures.
- Provide support and advice in all technical aspects during implementation.
- Assist technical teams in addressing questions and concerns along with reviewing deliverables to ensure they are in alignment with overall roadmap.
**Experience/Education**:
**Required**
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work/education experience.
- Proficient in Spanish and English.
- 5+ years supporting manufacturing operations.
- 3+ years supporting and SAP MM/SCM modules.
- 3 years SAP Development Experience including SAP ECC 6.0 or SAP S/4.
- ABAP Development experience.
- Code Analysis through Customer Code Cockpit
- Code Performance Checking
- Change Request Management (CSOL/Retrofit) and/or Focused Build including release management.
- Excellent knowledge of SapScript and Smartform programing.
- Working knowledge of Adobe forms.
- Excellent communication and written skills to aid in RICEF creation and design document creation.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP best practices regarding ABAP development.
**Desired**
- Previous project management experience.
- Fiori, Adobe Forms, and Workflow experience.
- SAP HANA Cloud development capabilities.
- Experience in S/4 HANA 1709 or higher
- Experience with Eclipse / WebIDE / ADT.
- ServiceNow experience.
