Job Summary
- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a _Materials Manager_ located in _Juarez_._
- Reporting to the Director, Materials, Materials Manager role involves._ _Directs and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in some or all of the following areas: material planning, distribution, inventory control, material research, purchasing, and supply chain management by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates._
What a typical day looks like:
- _ Coordinate the planning activities across the site._
- _ Manages, controls, and directs the activities and staff involved in the distribution of inventory to the production line._
- _ Manages, controls, and directs staff to achieve Materials profit and loss goals including minimization of excess and obsolete inventory._
- _ Ensures the timely delivery of materials at the most economical cost, consistent with quality standards, affecting quality by assuring that suspicious material is identified, and that material is handled, stored, and delivered properly._




- _ Ensures a high degree of customer satisfaction through negotiations of customer expectations and managing and directing staff activities required to meet these expectations._
- _ Coordinates with customers, purchasing, project managers, operations managers, and warehouse managers._
- _ In charge of accurate inventory cycle counts, and controls._
- _ Provides for the proper shipping and documentation of finished goods._
- _ Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems._
- _ Reviews, plans, and approves purchase orders and change notices._
- _ Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy._
- _ In charge of the disposition of excess and obsolete materials._

- _ Knowledge of inventory management techniques and strategies_

- _ Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage customer expectations_
- _ Advanced English level_
- _ Willingness to travel_
