Main purpose of the role:
Ensure an efficient cost control on Port Operations and Land Transportation, verifying and approving all operation vendor invoicing to avoid delays and generate accurate payments via ZIM Systems (SAP).
Main Responsibilities:
SAP Invoice Control
- Verify and approve all: Port, Terminal, Depots, and Land Transportation (LT) expenses, according to agreements and authorized costs.
- Review that all IQSHIP information is accurate for PO generation in SAP so that the payment process can continue.
- Fix data in case of missing PO or discrepancies between SAP and Vendor invoices.




- Ensure that all time-sensitive invoices are processed in a timely manner to avoid delays in port operations.
- Update SAP information ensuring it is accurate.
- Daily report invoices pending approval.
- Assisting with month-end reporting and reconciliations.
- Weekly Reconciliations of disputed and missing charge code invoices and take necessary action with stake holders to avoid delays in payments via ZIM systems.
- Create weekly and monthly reports showing status of invoices and action required.
KPI's:
- Processed Invoices
- Invoices pending approval
- Cost reconciliations
**Requirements**:
- Academic education: bachelor’s degree, preferred.
- Experience: 4-6 years related experience Cost Control on Port Operations, Land Transportation.
- SAP advanced knowledge, preferred
- Experience in Container Shipping industry (a plus).
