**Job Summary**
The Software Development Lead is a team leader who will manage team members of varying seniority from the Software Development/Engineering team who work on the design, development, and innovation of new products, technologies, or processes.
The Software Development Lead offers guidance, support and management to other team members on a daily basis with a set of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and OKRs (Objectives and Key Results), and ensures that design choices align with the company’s long-term goals.
**Responsibilities**:
- Architectural Decision-Making: Define and guide the architecture and technical direction of the projects.
- Project Management: Take ownership and full management of key projects from conception to deployment, ensuring that they meet business requirements and maintain momentum and direction until delivery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and teams, such as developers, data engineers, and business process stakeholders to gather requirements and identify areas for improvement.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain documentation and records of tests, designs, and processes, and create detailed reports for internal use or to present to stakeholders.
- Team Management and Reporting: Offer team support and supervision, and guidance in best practices, team performance, teamwork environment, and development.
- Metrics Analysis: Develop tools and metrics to measure the performance of the company’s models and systems.
- Cross-functional Communication: Effective communication with all business stakeholders who may have little to no machine learning knowledge, explaining and exploring the benefits and limitations of various machine learning approaches in the context of their business goals.
- Budget and Resource Management: Manage the allocation of resources, including time, personnel, and tools, to ensure project success within the given constraints,



and work with management to define and manage project budgets.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure that the software developed meets security standards, regulatory compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
**Requirements**:
- At least 2 years' demonstrable experience in a related managerial or team supervision role.
- Strong knowledge and experience using _NodeJS for back-end, VueJS for front-end, and React._
- Demonstrable experience working in a Full-Stack Software development environment.
- Strong exposure to back-end software development projects,_ leading architectural design, tools, processes and people involved_, both internal and external.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- _Strong communication and collaboration skills_, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience taking ownership of projects from conception to deployment, and mentoring more junior team members.
- Experience in deployment and supervision of _machine learning models and algorithms_ using appropriate techniques and technologies, such as containerization using_ Docker and deployment to cloud infrastructure_.
- Experience in the deployment of digital models into a _large-scale AWS environment._
- Ability to design and understand architectural systems, front-end and back-end.

**Educational Level**
