**_ Essential Functions:_**
1. Responsible for the quality, cost effectiveness and timeliness of designs.
2. Sketches, drawings, and motion sheets as required to document the above, direct CAD work and provide presentation materials.
3. Review and completely understand customer requirements and specifications.
4. Responsible for conformance to design specifications.
5. Obtain necessary subcontract support and quotations and Support quotation deadline requirements.
6. Maintain accurate project documentation.
7. Interface with and provide support to all operational departments including Manufacturing, Sales, Service, and Applications.
**_ Qualifications:_**
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical automotive engineering or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in mechanical design and automation.
- Proficient in AutoCad or SolidWorks.
- CATIA and Inventor are a plus!
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- English: Intermediate (minimum).
