**Minimum Qualifications**
**CAD Component Specialist, Associate (Entry Level)**
- Technical background, especially in electronics/electrical engineering.
- Some experience with EDA tools, especially Siemens/Mentor Xpedition and/or Cadence Allegro desirable.
**CAD Component Specialist, Senior**
- Technical background, especially in electronics/electrical engineering.
- 3+ years actively involved in CAD library development in support of PWB design and packaging.
- Experienced in the use of EDA tools, preferably Siemens/Mentor Xpedition and/or Cadence Allegro.
- Good understanding of Design for Manufacturing/Assembly (DFMA) and utilization of this understanding to create CAD library parts.
- Ability to work closely with internal and external teams.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Ability to read, interpret and understand component vendor specifications and create appropriate CAD library symbols and component footprints.
- Checking of CAD library parts and release into the production library.




- Ability to analyze and solve problems independently.
- Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work with internal Manufacturing Engineering to create CAD library footprints that result in highest possible yields.
- Understands project goals and individual contribution toward those goals.
- Interact and collaborate with other internal/external CAD library teams to ensure that customer schedule expectations are met.
- Effectively multitasks and meets aggressive schedules in a dynamic environment.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Leadership skills to help direct, prioritize, and clearly set project tasks per schedule. Communicate milestones and directions to outside team members.
- Performs effectively with mínimal supervision.
**Education**Associate Degree in a Technical Field, Electronics preferred.
