**What You'll Do for Us**:
Lead and manage CAPEX and OPEX Automation projects, ensuring alignment with project scopes, budgets, and timelines.
Provide 2nd level support and oversee the OT network onsite.
Collaborate with IT teams for OT infrastructure suitability and integrate automation systems for safety, quality, and productivity.
Ensure production equipment reliability and functionality, document resolutions, and train technicians.
Monitor and coordinate automation life cycle replacements with stakeholders.
Identify and propose automation improvement opportunities.
Program and maintain PLCs, HMIs, safety relays (especially Allen Bradley systems), switches, servers, and communication lines.
Troubleshoot servers, OT networks, PLCs, sensors, robots, and safety devices.
Use MES systems for troubleshooting processes, program/configure Ignition software, manage Kepware suite and OPC communications, and handle Microsoft SQL database programming.
Implement IO link technology and review/select appropriate instrumentation.
Supervise contract services to ensure compliance with quality standards and protect company information
**What are the Qualifications Needed**:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, or similar field).
Experience: 1 to 5 years in automation, control process programing and data server set up, with a strong background in CAPEX and OPEX projects.
Proficiency in programming PLCs, HMIs,
safety relays (Allen Bradley preferred), and Microsoft SQL databases.
Hands-on experience with Ignition software, Kepware manufacturing suite, and OPC communications.
Deep understanding of OT networks and the collaboration with IT teams for infrastructure purposes.
Ability to troubleshoot servers, switches, PLCs, sensors, robots, and safety devices.
Capacity for identifying and proposing automation improvements with solid business rationale.
Proficient in setting up and configuring switches, instrumentation, and data mapping devices.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
