Job Summary
- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a_ Process Engineering Manager_ located in Guadalajara, North Campus._
- Reporting to the VP, Operations this role involves directing the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of processes and procedures within the organization related to the engineering function._
- Responsible for leading a team of process engineers working on improving process engineering capabilities to support a specific area of a manufacturing organization._
What a typical day looks like:
- _ Designs, implements, and develops product & process controls, testing, and manufacturing processes._
- _ Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems._
- _ Establish and improve process capabilities._
- _ Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery and cost expectations._
- _ Improve throughput in constrained areas._
- _ Develop, test and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and lead cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas._
- _ Partner with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured._




- _ Lead initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas._
- _ Leads process engineering team in the development of new products introduction, design intent, process controls, documentation and solid PFMEA management, adherence._
- _ Assures that processes meet quality, safety and customer compliance._
- _ Proficiency using presentation software to explain complex information to non-technical management team members and customer._
- _ Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously._
- _ Drives engineering strategies to deliver customer requirements and recommend Flex capabilities in manufacturing and engineering services._
- _ Provides technical supplier management as related to product development and integration._
- The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- _ BA/BS or equivalent work experience_
- _ Strong Knowledge in Plastics_
- _ Acknowledge of automotive standards (IATF, PPAP, Core tools, APQP)_
- _ PLC Programming knowledge._
- _ Strong risk mitigation strategies knowledge._
- _ Control tools knowledge, such as: statistical process control (SPC)_
- _ NPI experience_
- _ Advanced English._
- _ MS Office (Excel, PP)._
- _ Experience in High Volume & Low Volume_
- _ BoM structuring_
- _ Systems integrity_
- _ Core Tools_
- _ Leadership_
- _ Problem Solving_
- _ Detail-oriented_
- _ Teamwork_
- _ Green Belt/Black Belt certification is required._
- _ Flex SIM is a plus!_
