Summary of Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the Application Lifecyle Management, moving system changes through development, testing and production release.- Perform risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.- Stay up to date on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes, suggesting improvements to controls and audit preparedness.- Evaluate project outcomes and processes, implementing lessons learned to improve future project delivery.- Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.- Manage all other duties as needed or assigned, ensuring flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs.
Qualifications (Minimum Required):
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and meeting deadlines.- Leadership qualities that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team members in a creative and effective manner.- Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.
Experience (Minimum Required):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience using project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, etc.).- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT auditing, risk management, or related fields.- Understanding of IT General Controls, SOX Controls, etc.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Collaborative approach working in a general team environment.- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.- Experience managing direct reports.- Advanced computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Power Point).
Preferred Qualifications Include:
- Master’s degree preferred.- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner, etc.).- Experience within a CRO or similar environment is highly desirable.- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically when solving problems and making decisions.- Leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and building collaborative relationships.
