Based in Guadalajara, MX, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary teams to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards and exceed customer expectations. **Our Team**
You will be part of the DSS - Copper Solutions Business Unit, specifically focusing on the I/O Segment. Our team is dedicated to developing high-quality twinax and coaxial cable solutions, working collaboratively with internal operators, engineers, and project teams, as well as external suppliers. Together, we strive to enhance product performance and manufacturing efficiency.
**What You Will Do
- Lead the development of new raw cable products from concept through volume production.
- Oversee and manage critical technology path projects, ensuring adherence to schedules.
- Design tooling and develop extrusion processes for various materials like polyethylene and PVC.
- Collaborate with design, quality, and manufacturing teams to execute DFMEAs, PFMEAs, and verification plans.
- Provide technical guidance on twinax manufacturing processes, supporting facilities in Guadalajara and the Philippines.
**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.




- Minimum of 3 years of experience in wire and cable manufacturing with a focus on extrusion processes.
- Proficiency in CAD and ASME Y14.5 GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong ability to develop sound design solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external customers.
**What Will Put You Ahead**
- 5 years of experience in a process/product engineering role with knowledge of extrusion foam.
- Experience in designing twinax cables and familiarity with the twinax manufacturing process.
- Working knowledge of SAP for BOMs and material master data sheet management.
- Demonstrated experience with materials used in wire and cable manufacturing.
