Job Description:
**Position Purpose**:The teacher is responsible for providing a caring educational atmosphere where students have the opportunity to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and psychological growth. This person is accountable for organizing and implementing an instructional program that abides by the school's philosophy and mission.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develops and maintains a classroom environment conducive to effective learning within the limits of the resources provided by the school.
- Plans a program of study that, as much as possible, meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students. 3. Develops, keeps, and submits appropriate written lesson plans.




- Employs instructional methods and materials that are most appropriate for meeting established program objectives. 5. Maintains effective discipline within the classroom.
- Accepts responsibility for encouraging appropriate student behavior to ensure a positive and safe learning environment.
- Assesses the accomplishments of students regularly and maintains such records as required by established school policy and procedures.
