- Summary of Duties
- Manage Stamping projects awarded to internal and external equipment & high speed stamping tooling suppliers to ensure specification requirements, budget, and project timelines are met (on time, on quality, on cost).
- Performs quoting/ cost-estimation for NPI and capacity high speed stamping processes as a LEAN PD deliverable to Product Management, Sales, and Finance teams for Gate 2 review and piece part pricing.
- Provide input to Product Engineers during Design for Manufacturability Reviews to ensure optimized product and process design for quality.
- Benchmarks best in class Stamping processes from other regions to innovate newer manufacturing methods or procedures for optimized processes.
- Analyzes and plans workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency and ergonomics.
- Provide Stamping Technical support to Industrialization team and Sustaining teams in the plant during ramp-to-volume phase of equipment and program launch, for internal & external suppliers.
- Develop procedures for TPM of Stamping equipment or processes in the plant for internal & external suppliers.




- Designs, develops, and integrates various manufacturing tooling solutions and systems to produce high-quality, economically competitive products.
- Identify and lead cost savings projects in the plants targeting labor savings, OEE improvements, and scrap reduction.
- Research automation or process assembly techniques, testing new systems or process elements for efficiency and optimized production.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: BS Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years of experience in development of automated manufacturing technologies and equipment or equivalent OJT proven history
- Proficient in CAD design with PTC Creo
- Good computer skills a must (MS Office Suite, Office 360, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
- Automotive or Industrial experience preferred.
- Must be willing to travel nationally and internationally up to 25% per year.
- Good English communication (written and oral)
- Spanish a plus
