**Your Job**
The Supt, Test Engineering role is pivotal in coordinating and supervising test engineers and technicians in their projects and activities. This position involves quoting test equipment according to client specifications and ensuring the MES system operates at full efficiency.
**Our Team**
The role is part of the Global Shared Plants (GSP) division, based in Guadalajara, and reports to the Mgr, Operations / Dir, Engineering and Manufacturing. The team focuses on maintaining operational excellence and innovation in test engineering.
**What You Will Do**
- Coordinate and supervise test engineers and technicians.
- Quote test equipment based on client specifications.
- Ensure 100% operational efficiency of the MES system.
- Maintain proper documentation and control of fixtures, equipment, and software.
- Conduct failure analysis and generate reports.
- Architect software and hardware development for test equipment.
- Develop maintenance plans for test equipment.
- Implement strategies to address efficiency issues and develop test programs.
**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering or similar.
- Proven experience in Test Engineering, Manufacturing, or NPI.
- Proficiency in English.
- Experience with ICT, FT, RF, and Optical Fiber.




- Knowledge of international quality systems (ISO, TS).
**What Will Put You Ahead**
- Experience in electronic circuit design and interpretation.
- Proficiency in Labview programming and test development languages.
- Experience with AOI/AXI platforms and optical defect detection.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies.
- Advanced skills in SAP and Microsoft Office tools.
