Job Summary
- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a _Equipment Maintenance Manager _located in_ Tijuana Site _._
- Reporting to the Manager role involves_ _Directs activities of personnel engaged in the troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of manufacturing equipment in order to attain goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements._
What a typical day looks like:
- Directs daily department activities in order to maximize equipment utilization, quality and support production needs.- Establishes preventative maintenance schedules,- Controls spare parts and consumables needed to perform corrective or preventive maintenance.- Reviews and establishes material, equipment, and manpower resource requirements.- Coordinates maintenance activities with other functional groups such as engineering and operations.



Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the departmental function.- Administer safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees.- Generates maintenance logs and other operations metrics.- Generates data and trends to improve MTTR, MTTF on equipment under scope- Administers safety programs to maintain a safe and clean workplace for employees._
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- _._Expert on hardware, software, programming, calibration, refurbish and preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance ( Wave solder, selective solder), automated equipment, conformal/RTV dispensing equipment.
- Checking and calibrating instruments to make sure they are accurate.
- Fitting new parts.
- Carrying out quality inspections.
- Acknowledging immediately to equipment breakdowns.
- Fixing faults on site or arranging for replacement machinery or equipment to be installed.
- Keeping production managers informed of progress.
- Organizing teams or unipersonal to make sure that 24-hour cover is available.
- Working on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or computerized systems.
- _ Advanced proficiency in English_
