**FULL TIME REMOTE (Contract) POSITION BASED IN USA**
**Position Overview**: As a Patient Care Navigator, you will be the primary liaison for English
- and Spanish-speaking patients, guiding them through the entire medical imaging journey—from registration to exam completion. You’ll provide compassionate, high-quality support to ensure a smooth, efficient experience, addressing patient needs in online registration, referral coordination, prior authorization, appointment scheduling, exam preparation, and payment support.
You will play an essential role in each patient journey, enhancing access to radiology services and ensuring every step is seamless, informative, and supportive.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **End-to-End Patient Support**: Serve as the trusted point of contact for patients, supporting them through each step of their imaging process:
- **Account registration and setup**:Retrieval and management of imaging orders and referrals
- Assistance with prior authorization inquiries and updates
- Appointment scheduling and payment processing
- Exam day preparation and guidance
- Collection and management of imaging reports
- Prompt issue resolution and escalation, as needed
- **Proactive Case Management**: Actively manage a patient queue, ensuring timely scheduling and appointment completion for those with new imaging referrals.
- **Appointment Scheduling**:
Handle appointment requests and schedule patients with partnered imaging providers that fit availability and imaging needs.
**Qualifications**:
- **Bilingual Communication**: Fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal skills.
- **Care Navigation Experience**: 2+ years of experience scheduling patient imaging appointments and providing phone-based and written support in radiology or healthcare setting
- **Prior Authorization Knowledge**: 1+ year of experience managing or supporting patient prior authorizations
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Strong communication, active listening, and problem-solving abilities.
- **Proven Performance**: Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding call center performance expectations in a fast paced environment.
- **Issue Resolution Skills**: Track record of resolving patient concerns effectively, with the ability to escalate complex issues as appropriate.
- **Organizational Ability**: Detail-oriented, with strong record-keeping and time-management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
