**Requirements**:
Minimum of 5 years on the Salesforce platform. System Design and Architecture
Products and APIs, Apex/Visualforce, Lightning, mobile development technologies, and integration/ETL technologies.
Strong knowledge of architectural frameworks Salesforce.
Expertise in designing scalable, high-availability, and fault-tolerant systems.
Programming and Development
Expert-level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Community, Marketing, and Community Clouds.
Familiarity with both backend and frontend technologies.
Understanding of key design patterns and large data volume limitations and best practices.
Understanding of data sharing and visibility considerations and how these play into platform architecture.
Familiarity with platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth).




Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems (ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, reporting, etc.).
Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies.
Experience with platform security capabilities (TLS, SSL).
Expert-level experience defining the system architecture landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable the achievement of the desired business outcomes.
Strong background in the design/development of large web-based systems, or complete software product lifecycle exposure.
Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire.
Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.).
**Responsibilities**:
Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, and deliverables, and set and handle expectations.
**Feasibility Analysis**: Assess the feasibility of proposed solutions, considering budget, timelines, and resources.
**Technical Roadmap**: Develop detailed plans for the implementation and deployment of the architecture.
**Resource Management**: Identify and allocate technical resources, including hardware, software, and personnel.
**Guidance and Mentorship**:



Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
**Code Review**: Ensure code quality by conducting code reviews and enforcing best practices.
**Troubleshooting**: Assist in resolving complex technical issues and bottlenecks during the development lifecycle.
**Stakeholder Alignment**: Work closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, product owners, and project managers, to ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.
**Documentation**: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectures, processes, and designs.
**Team Coordination**: Act as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
**Standards and Compliance**: Ensure solutions adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
**Performance Optimization**: Monitor and optimize system performance for speed, reliability, and efficiency. Security: Implement best practices for system security and data protection.
Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives; identify gaps between client's current and desired end states
Provide oversight and governance of Salesforce projects.
Liaise with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations.
