“Production Engineer (PCD)”
About this role:
At Seco Tools Mexico, we are now looking for great talent to join our Production team as “Production Engineer (Polycrystalline Diamond)” based in our plant located in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, México. In this role you will be reporting directly to the Production Manager.
You will Provide support on the technical field, training, improvements, standardization and operation processes of the PCD area, being aligned with compliance of safety, people, delivering quality and cost, we are sure you will optimize our production performance! Basic Requirements:
- Engineering bachelor’s degree
- English advanced
- More than 3 years of experience at engineering roles, in a global organization
- Leadership skills, self-driven, proactive
- Strong communication skills
- Collaboration and teamwork skills
- Problem Solving and analytical skills.
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge
- KPI’s goals oriented
Technical knowledge & experience required:
- CNC programming
- Tool Studio
- AutoCAD & Ares Commander
- Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel, Power point, etc)
- Induction Welding processes for PCD tools
- Laser cutting process for PCD
- Knowledge of Production Management System (Preferably Raps or others: SAP, Oracle, Plex)
- Interpreting Drawings: GD&T; Geometric and Dimensional Tolerances




- Approximation and sharpening processes in PCD (disc and wire EDM Vollmer machines)
- Carbide and PCD Sharpening Processes (Disc EDM Walter Machines)
- Manual Sharpening Processes (PCD)
- Tool measurement with Zoller & Helicheck equipment
Desirable knowledge or experience (would be a plus):
- Machines: Ancas, Walter, Rollomatic
- Processes: Grinding (Studer / Toyoda / True Tech), Milling processes in machining centers, Balancing processes, Sharpening/abrasive wheel dressing processes, Sand blast processes, Lathe.
