**Description**
Complexity and size of the organization a strong plant manager with experience in the electronics manufacturing industry. The individual must be a self-starter that drives lean and continuous improvement with proven capability to drive improvement in operational KPI’s while building a team culture; they must have an in-depth understanding of the business such that the right structure and the right people are deployed; an energy level and an attention-to-detail that routinely delivers the forecasted outcomes; the mental discipline, persistence and confidence to effectively function in a high-volume environment; the vision and leadership to revolutionize the shop floor using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
**As a Plant Manager, YOU WILL**:
- Commit to driving a zero-accident culture in safety
- Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed customers’ expectations in quality and delivery
- Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
- Drive engagement and the ownership mindset with all levels within the production organization
- Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff
- Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
- Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus
- Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
- Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts
**REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCES & SKILLS**:
- Proven experience in electronics manufacturing operations, preferably in a plant staff leadership role
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control methodologies, and lean manufacturing practices
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience managing P&L; Financial Statements
- Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
- Track record of team building within own and across the broader organization
**PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCES & SKILLS**
**_**Master of Business or electronics engineering degree
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in plant or production management roles in electronics manufacturing industries, strong focus with SMT (Surface-Mount Technology) processes.
- Proven experience in managing low-volume, high-mix production, working with electronic assembly lines and adapting to changing demands.
Technical and Production Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes, with specialization in SMT processes, including managing component placement machines, automatic optical inspection (AOI) and reflow soldering.
- Knowledge of soldering technologies such as wave soldering and selective soldering, ensuring the quality and reliability of solder joints in high-mix production environments.
- Experience in in-line flash programming and functional testing of electronic assemblies, ensuring the proper functionality of the final products.
- Knowledge of quality control in electronic processes, with experience in implementing quality standards (such as IPC-A-610 or similar).
- Experience on NPI and automation projects
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen, with the ability to identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and improving operational efficiency.
- Focus on innovation to implement new technologies and production methods that enhance plant performance.
