We are partnering with a **global manufacturing leader** in the search for a **highly proactive MRP Buyer** to join their growing team in Tijuana, Mexico. This is not a traditional purchasing role — we’re looking for a problem-solver, someone who thrives in dynamic environments and knows how to keep the supply chain moving when challenges arise.
As the MRP Buyer, you will play a critical role in **ensuring material availability**, minimizing downtime risks, and negotiating with suppliers to support efficient, versátil, and cost-effective operations. You will be the **bridge between planning and execution**, managing exceptions, solving supply issues, and making decisions that directly impact production continuity.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Execute and monitor material requirements planning (MRP), ensuring timely purchasing of components aligned with production needs.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and flexibility with both local and international suppliers to reduce risk and secure continuity.




- Maintain strong supplier relationships to improve responsiveness and performance under pressure.
- Support cost-reduction initiatives without compromising on material availability or quality.
- Ensure clean and accurate ERP transactions and records for full visibility and accountability.
**Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
**Experience**: 4+ years in materials planning, purchasing, or supply chain—preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing or maquiladora environment.
**Key Skills**:
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking under pressure
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Confident in negotiating with suppliers and pushing for resolution
**Soft Skills**: Hands-on, self-starter, excellent communicator, cross-functional collaborator, and highly adaptable.
**Languages**: English (advanced).
