In this program, you will have the opportunity to experience a variety of roles that span the full breadth of TI's business operations. In your assignments you will partner with TI engineering, manufacturing and sales to ensure financial strength, accurate reporting, and on-time delivery of products and services to our customers. Gain broad exposure to TI's total supply chain.
The Business and Ops Rotation Program prepares participants for roles in Worldwide Procurement.
Assignments are primarily driven by TI business needs in consideration with your educational background and interests. At the end of the program, you will have the foundational skills to be successful at TI and be placed in a role that matches your skills and TI business needs.
Profile description:
Coordinates purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner. Processes purchase requisitions, purchase change orders and requests for quotes to suppliers. Works with management to address all aspects of commodity management, including procurement support, commodity business plans, market trends assessment, pricing, and product availability. Performs cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities. Monitors the cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to negotiate highest quality at best value. Develops new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are no longer competitive. May recommend cost saving proposals including make-versus-buy analysis or alternative sourcing. Interacts closely with suppliers and QA to resolve quality issues.
QUALIFICATIONS
**Minimum requirements**:
- Bachelors degree in international business, Supply Chain or related business field
- Recent graduate from 0-2 years of experience.

- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to team and collaborate effectively with people in different functions, countries and cultures
- Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
