AMREP Mexico is looking for talented Supplier Development Engineers to work closely with suppliers to improve performance, quality, and reliability of electronics manufacturing.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Understand and qualify suppliers’ capabilities and growth capabilities. Ensuring all requirements are possible.
- Supplier Performance Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, delivery, and cost targets.
- Supplier Development and Improvement: Collaborate with suppliers to implement corrective actions for quality issues and non-conformance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by introducing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize processes and reduce waste.
- Implement best practices for supplier quality management systems (QMS) and help suppliers meet or exceed industry standards
- Process and Documentation:



Ensure all supplier-related documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with client requirements.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's qualification in an engineering field.
- 5 + years of experience in supplier development, supplier quality engineering, within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control methodologies, and supplier relationship management.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is highly preferred.
- Prior experience with supplier audits, quality systems, and risk management is essential.
- English at professional proficiency
Pay: From $30,000.00 per month
