As **Legal Director, FII Mexico & Central America**, you’ll be part of our incredible team of **Legal**.
In this role, you will be the lead legal advisor for the region, managing all legal, compliance, and privacy matters. Reporting to the VP & General Counsel, Latin America, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders while managing a team of lawyers. This role also supports the Latin America shared services center and plays a key role in aligning global strategies with local execution.
**Location**: Guadalajara (preferably) or San Nicolas (optional)
**As part of the Idea Labs team, your role you’ll be**:
- Lead legal, compliance, and privacy matters across Mexico and Central America.
- Manage a team of lawyers and external counsel, ensuring high-quality legal support across the company.
- Implement global compliance programs and develop local initiatives tailored to country-specific risks.
- Provide strategic legal advice on contracts, litigation, governance, ESG topics,



and corporate transactions.
- Collaborate with integral teams on cross-border legal matters and related projects.
**What are we looking for?**
- Law Degree from Accredited schools, qualified in Mexico, admission to local bar
- Desired post-graduation or LLM in related field;
- Demonstrated experience in the Corporate Legal functions in regulated industries such as food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, ingredients, among others.
- Fluent in English.
