The Private Commercial Director is accountable for delivering Pfizer’s growth objectives in the Private channel, strategically managing resources.
Designs and executes private commercial strategies in compliance with local laws and policies.
Focuses on innovative strategic alliances with customers and key stakeholders to bring sustainable growth to Pfizer and add value to the organization.
Expert negotiator to maximize the return on investment (ROI) of trade investments
Orchestrates cross functional teams to promote our go-to-market model with a customer centric approach to generate access to patients to our innovative brands before inclusion in public institutions (in molecules that apply) while maintaining a competitive share of established products.
With a growth and innovation mindset, influences internal and external environment to capitalize new business opportunities to increase patient access.
**Responsibilities**:
- Establish strategic and sustainable long-term relationships with internal and external key stakeholders.- Development of Joint Business Plans to find win-win solutions for Pfizer and our customers in order to profitably growth the business. Lead the implementation of our go-to-market model, placing customer needs at the center of each commercial strategy- Maximize ROI of trade investment- Maximize innovation access and launches- Maintain the base of mature brands via commercial strategies- Leads a team of Account Managers, Strategic Healthcare Partner, Trade Marketing, and e-Commerce. Develop and retain talent within the commercial team by providing multiple experiences across the organization- Deliver private channel revenue commitment (2025 = US250M) and ensure correct allocation of investment (gross-to-net)
always looking for opportunities to improve profitability- Actively explore, design, and implement digital initiatives in Trade Marketing such as e-commerce to excel the digital race in Pharma and deliver our medicines faster to our patients.- Guarantee a culture of integrity and compliance by operating coherently with our values and behaviours. Ensures high standards of compliance to norms, policies, and procedures and instills a proactive compliance risk management culture throughout the direct team and the cross-functional organization- Become best in class with a lean and accurate Customer Service process adapting to new business changes and requirements being able to attend customers’ needs focusing action and implementation- Serve as Steward and upholder of our Commercial Policy (order-to-cash, gross-to-net, days-on-hand)
Position requirements- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (MBA)- English and Spanish fluency required
Experience & Skills- Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry with emphasis on commercial operations, marketing, and sales- Minimum 10 years of experience in Private Channel account management, trade marketing,
category management and customers development- Proven ability to communicate clearly and appropriately based on audience (both oral and written)- Proven experience in successfully leading teams of different backgrounds and areas of expertise- Proven negotiation skills achieving _win-win_ agreements with internal and external stakeholders- Established track record of collaboration, innovation, and coalition building in complex environments, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously- Strong P&L; management to deliver financial objectives- Ability to identify antitrust, legal and compliance risks and work in collaboration with Legal and Compliance Teams to mitigate them- Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes- Ability to establish and leverage high-level external contacts and networks with key commercial customers- Well organized, highly motivated, creative, and analytical with regards to problem solving- Must be able to work under pressure, independently and in a team environment, and with all levels of the organization and key external stakeholders- Ability to navigate a matrix organization

Other Job Details:- Work Location Assignment: Mexico City. Must be able to work from assigned Pfizer office 2-3 days per week, or as needed by the business.
