**Your Job**
As a Process Engineer Jr based in Guadalajara, you will play a crucial role in supporting production lines, solving floor-level issues, and ensuring documentation accuracy according to workstations and operations. Your focus will be on the reduction of labor costs through Lean Manufacturing practices, such as KAIZEN, while contributing to the continuous improvement of processes.
**Our Team**
Join our innovative Global Shared Plants (GSP) division, where you will report to the Director of Engineering and Manufacturing or the Process Engineering Superintendent/Supervisor. You'll work alongside a dynamic team dedicated to optimizing production processes and enhancing manufacturing efficiency within our shared facilities.
**What You Will Do**
- Provide support to production lines for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Maintain and update documentation to reflect current operations and workstations.
- Implement cost reduction strategies through Lean Manufacturing and KAIZEN methodologies.
- Develop material bills and conduct standard time calculations.
- Design and analyze tooling, devices, and boards for production processes.
- Utilize advanced product quality planning (APQP) and statistical control techniques.
- Prepare and release internal control documents, including visual aids and control plans.
- Optimize production line balance through KAIZEN methods.
**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- Bachelor's degree in industrial, electronic, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in problem-solving and project execution within support and service areas.
- Proficiency in establishing short and medium-term strategic quality plans and measuring results.
- Advanced English proficiency (conversational) and advanced skills in SAP and Microsoft Office tools.
**What Will Put You Ahead**
- Experience in developing corrective actions (RAC, RDP, 8D).
- Skills in selecting and qualifying suppliers.
- Familiarity with Poka Yoke systems and the 5S methodology.
- High-level competence in various labor and conduct factors, including problem analysis, independence, and integrity.
