Client: Our client is a integral travel-tech company that provides various travel services.
- Responsibilities: Conduct thorough analysis of travel industry trends and requirements to inform business strategies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and clarify business requirements related to travel operations
- Develop process maps and workflows to streamline travel management operations
- Work with IT and development teams to translate business needs into functional specifications
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure alignment and clarity among stakeholders
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to ensure adherence to timelines and deliverables
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the travel or TMC (Travel Management Company) domain
- Strong understanding of travel booking flows, including air, hotel, and car reservations
- Hands-on experience with GDS platforms such as Sabre (Sabre Red, Sabre APIs, PNR workflows, etc.), Amadeus or Travelport
- Nice to have: Knowledge of NDC (New Distribution Capability) and evolving GDS strategies
- Understanding of invoice approval workflows, supplier reconciliation, and mid-office/back-office processes in travel
- Familiarity with Compleat or other expense automation/invoice processing tools
- Knowledge of the PNR lifecycle, including creation, modification, ticketing, queuing, and synchronization across mid
- and back-office systems
