**Position Summary**:
Based in Silao, México, the Production Manager will perform essential job functions associated with heat treatment under the direction of the General Manager to meet customer specifications, including assisting other employees as needed.
**Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)**:The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to, the following.
- Directs activities of production and maintains appropriate production staffing as needed to meet company goals.
- Responsible for shop production schedules and conducting production meetings, including supervisors’ meetings.
- Ensures customers’ needs are appropriately met by shipping to schedule with minimum turnaround time and a high degree of quality, working closely with the Quality Manager.
- Responsible for communicating policy changes from top management to others in supervision and ensuring supervisors’ understanding of management philosophies, safety, product handling, equipment capabilities, and customer needs.
- Responsible for enforcing the company handbook and communicating with the Office Manager and/or General Manager on matters relating to discipline.
- Responsible for maintaining an effective energy conservation program, maintaining controls over labor costs, directing industrial services, and approving expenditures within established company guidelines under the guidance of the General Manager.




- Responsible for ensuring the safe operation of equipment, safe work habits of the employees, and administering the safety program within the guidelines established by the company and the General Manager.
- Responsible for purchasing and/or approving materials for shop, facilities, tooling, fixtures, etc., under the guidance of the General Manager.
- Participates in staff meetings as a member of management.
- Must work in a manner consistent with the EMS.
- May have access to compensation information of other employees or applicants in this role, and as such, cannot disclose the pay of other employees or applicants to other individuals.
- This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customers’ inventory and, as such, will perform duties safely and responsibly to prevent customer loss or damage.
- Performs other duties as dictated by position or required by the General Manager.
- Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
- Responsible of supply chain planning and coordinates the entire flow of material, production, and information from customers.
- Organizes routes with the customers, selects carriers, and ensures materials are delivered on time and in good condition.
- Responsible for inventory management, as well as empty packaging by controlling stock levels.
- Warehouse coordination, oversees storage operations,



ensuring proper handling and organization of products.
- Logistics process optimization identifies opportunities to improve cost-efficiency, lead times, and resource use through methods like Lean or Six Sigma.
- Negotiation with customers and carriers seeks better service conditions and delivery times.
- Team management, leads teams in areas such as warehousing/ logistics and production.
- Responsible for production planning/scheduling and logistics planning.
- Use of logistics systems (ERP/WMS/TMS) and customer portals. Operates specialized software and web pages to manage logistics operations effectively.
- Regulatory and customer special requirements compliance ensures all logistics activities follow legal, safety, and quality standards.

- Education: Bachelor's diploma or equivalent. Advanced related training is preferred.
- Experience: Requires solid experience in operations and administrative management, with strong leadership and team management skills. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage KPIs, and ensure operational efficiency is essential. Experience in quality systems and customer service is required. Knowledge of heat treatment processes, metallurgy, and inspection techniques is a plus, but not mandatory.
