**Job Summary**:
As a Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer within Encora's Workforce Engineering Team, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting scalable Microsoft 365 environments with a focus on Exchange Online, Security & Compliance, and collaboration tools like Teams and OneDrive. Your deep technical expertise and leadership will guide migrations, drive transformation initiatives, and support a secure, seamless cloud-first experience for users.
**Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Design and implement secure and scalable Microsoft 365 solutions, particularly in Exchange Online, Teams, and OneDrive
- Configure and manage Microsoft 365 tenant settings: licensing, policies, security configurations, and feature rollouts
- Develop and maintain governance and retention policies in accordance with compliance requirements
- Implement and manage Conditional Access Policies for Microsoft 365
- Monitor system performance and conduct root cause analysis to resolve issues
- Create and manage automation scripts using PowerShell for administration and reporting
- Stay current on Microsoft 365 product changes and provide recommendations for best practices
- Collaborate across Security, Networking, and Desktop teams to ensure a secure, user-centric M365 experience
- Provide Tier 3 support and mentor junior engineers or technical support teams
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT,



or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 5-8 years in IT infrastructure with a strong focus on Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365
- Proven expertise in managing Exchange Online and hybrid environments
- Experience leading migration projects from on-premises or third-party systems to Microsoft 365
**Role-specific Requirements**:
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Center, Entra Connect, and Intune
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online administration
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Office 365
- Familiarity with SendGrid SMTP services
